C.N.A.: One full-time  position available for a certified nurse assistant (C.N.A.).  Responsibilities include direct patient care and meal assistance.  Qualifications include current C.N.A. with two-years related experience preferred.

Paramedic or Paramedic Student: One full-time, part-time or PRN Paramedic position available, based in the Emergency Department, providing pre-hospital 911 response, Paramedic Intercepts with outlying services, and Inter-facility transports. Receptionist/Registration Specialist:  One full-time position available for a receptionist with excellent customer relations skills, working at both the hospital and clinic, to answer and operate the main telephone system, schedule appointments, prepare patient admission information, and some business office duties as assigned. Hours are mostly weekdays with some rotating weekends, evenings, and holidays.  Previous computer and/or receptionist experience preferred. 

Respiratory Therapist:  One full-time position available for a licensed respiratory therapist, working 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, to assess, treat and care for patients.  No weekend hours or call-time required.  Qualifications include current RRT or CRT license required, with two years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.

 EMT’s and Ambulance Drivers: We have an URGENT need for Ambulance drivers and EMT’S.  If you have a desire to help your community, please call Veterans Memorial Hospital at 563-568-3411.  All shifts available.  Ambulance Driver requirements are a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.  CPR is also required and is offered at the hospital.  EMT’s have same requirements plus current EMT certification from the state of Iowa.
