Director of Nursing: Full-time position available providing leadership of patient care services. Must be experienced in nursing supervision, hospital operations, team building, orientating, goal setting and budgeting. Qualifications include current Iowa RN licensure, a bachelor degree in a related field, preferred 4-5 years of progressive supervisory nursing experience in rural health care as well as excellent clinical, organizational, communication and leadership skills.
Pharmacist: Full-time position available managing the pharmaceutical needs of all hospital departments. Must be experienced in interpreting provider prescriptions, compounding, packaging and dispensing of medications within regulatory guidelines and ensures proper maintenance of inventory. Consults with medical staff regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions and handles complex problem resolution. Assists with financial oversite of pharmacy department. Qualifications include current RPh license and at least two years pharmacist experience.
Chief Executive Officer: Diversified rural community Critical Access Hospital with active outpatient, home health, rehabilitation, surgery, OB and ambulance services has one full-time position available for a CEO. Duties include efficient functioning and coordination of all departments, strategic program planning, organization of departments, control of activities, interpreting and administering policies of the Board of Trustees, and insuring that patients receive the highest level of professional medical care. Qualifications include an MHA degree or equivalent and a minimum of four years progressive management experience. A strong rural health background is preferred.
Information Technology Director: One full-time position available for an Information Technology Director. Duties include overseeing all functions of the I.T. Department including network and server infrastructure management, direct and support implementation of multiple software and hardware, communicate clearly with all hospital staff as well as patients and vendors, and responsible for workstations, printers, and regular computer maintenance. Qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification with three years of information technology and security experience required. Health care EMR/EHR experience preferred.
