Nurse Practitioner, Minji Na, Now 6 Months Into Practice in Postville & Waukon Clinics
Veterans Memorial Hospital Waukon and Postville Clinics welcomed Nurse Practitioner Minji Na as a family medical provider on January 8, 2024. Since she began, Minji has cared for many patients of all ages in both clinics and looks forward to continuing to grow her practice.
“My experience at Veterans Memorial Hospital and Clinics has been nothing but wonderful. I could not ask for a better team to work with,” states Minji. “I am excited to meet more patients and continue providing exceptional care to all!”
Minji cares for patients in both the Waukon and Postville Clinics spending a couple of days each week at each location.
Minji had two years of previous experience as a family nurse practitioner working for Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Albert Lea and Austin, Minnesota, before moving back to her home area, near Decorah, and beginning her practice.
“The best part about being a medical provider is going through life with my patients,” adds Minji. “I enjoy taking the time to listen and understand their concerns, working together as a team to make meaningful changes to improve their health and overall well-being.”
Minji has many years of related health care experience working as a certified nurse aide for four years, a licensed practical nurse for one year, and a registered nurse for six years before achieving her family nurse practitioner degree and spending those two years at the Mayo Clinic.
