The Veterans Memorial Hospital inpatient nursing staff is comprised of nearly 50 licensed RN’s, and CNA’s who are all exceptional people, offering exceptional care. Educated, trained, and experienced professional nurses at VMH have the same goals: to provide the best patient care possible by assessing patient needs, establishing a  plan of care, and collaborating with medical staff, dietitians, pharmacists, respiratory, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, to help make each patient’s stay as comfortable as possible.

Today nursing is more diverse than ever before and we truly have some of the most talented, caring nursing professionals in our area who have the ability to work in more than just one specialty area.

Nurses at VMH are not only trained in advanced care, they are instructors for such advanced training as Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support  (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.  We are equipped to meet the needs of patients in a rural hospital.

At VMH, we are proud of the exceptional patient care that is delivered by our nursing staff. Our nurse’s are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. “Quality, Personalized, Health Care, Right Here at Home,” is exactly what nurses provide at Veterans Memorial Hospital.
