I was born in West Virginia and have lived in West Virginia, Minnesota, Connecticut, and Wyoming. I was raised mostly in Connecticut as we lived there the longest. I have worked in Emergency Medicine since 2001. My specialty is trauma and emergency medicine. I am well trained in this environment as a nurse and nurse practitioner. I attend a lot of conferences and am well verse/knowledgeable regarding trends in Emergency Medicine. I was drawn to the Waukon area when I met my husband in college. He was raised here so we have lived here together since 1998. I started my nursing career at VMH and feel its nice to give back to the community. We both work for VMH and I moonlight here. I also work full time in La Crosse.
