Christmas Fantasy 2025—Make Your Reservations Now!
Enjoy a fun-filled Christmas Fantasy this year on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, November 14, 15, 16, and 17, at the Allamakee Fairgrounds Pavilion. The theme is “A Christmas Vacation!” Reservations are being taken now for the many popular events held during this four-day event, marking the 34th annual Veterans Memorial Health Care Foundation Christmas Fantasy.
Reservations are available for the Saturday evening Wine, Cheese and Dessert event held from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Saturday evening, November 15. This year the event will be sponsored by the Eagle’s Landing Winery of Marquette, the Empty Nest Winery of Waukon and Madigan’s Winery of Lansing. They will all be serving a variety of their finest wine throughout the evening. The cost for this event is $25 per person and includes unlimited wines, meats, cheeses, crackers, cheese spreads, cheese curds and desserts which are all furnished throughout the evening. Table decorators are needed for this event! Decorators agree to decorate a table for four to eight people that they invite in to enjoy the event. Reservations are also now being taken for the popular Monday Noon luncheon, sponsored by the Allamakee County Cattlemen’s Association, and will be held on Monday, November 17 at Noon. A full meal will be served, catered by BE Catered and the Nutrition Department at Veterans Memorial Hospital. All guests will have ample time to view all of the displays. Reservations can be made by calling 563-568-4177. Cost for the luncheon is $25.00 per adult.
“Brunch with Santa” will return this year since it was a successful new event last year, and will be held from 9-Noon on Sunday morning, November 16! A brunch buffet of scrambled eggs, ham, French toast sticks, biscuits and gravy, cheesy potatoes, fruit, cinnamon rolls, juice, etc., will be served from 9:00 am-Noon and will be sponsored by the Allamakee County Pork Producers. A cash Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar will also be offered. Santa will also be available to visit with children of all ages during this event. Reservations are being taken now for arrival between 9-9:30, 10-10:30 or 11-11:30am. Please call 563-568-4177 to make a reservation. All ages are welcome to attend this event. The cost is $15 per adult, $10 for children ages 12 and under, and Preschool age and under are free.
This years’ Christmas Fantasy will again have a huge number of decorated trees on display. Many items will also be available on silent auction for a great Christmas shopping opportunity. These items will include centerpieces, a wide variety of gift baskets, beautiful wreaths, swags, chairs, quilts, toys, mini-trees, crafted items, wall hangings and other decorative items.
The Friday evening “Tingle ‘N Mingle” happy hour will be held on November 14, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. This annual Friday night happy hour event is a special opportunity to meet socially with friends and co-workers after work. Many hot and hearty hors d’oeuvres will be added this year, plus desserts, candies, and spirits will be served among the trees. Each ticket includes all of the delicious food plus two drink tickets as well as a green jello shot. The cost is $25.00 per person. Tickets will be available at the door, and can be purchased n advance at the main entrance of Veterans Memorial Hospital.
New live auction! This year, a live auction has been added to the festivities on Friday night, beginning at 7 pm. A limited number of items will be auctioned off at this time and will be publicized on social media prior to the event.
Christmas Fantasy will be open to the public on Saturday, November 15, from 10:00am -2:00 p.m., and on Sunday, November 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Santa will be available on Sunday for visits with children of all ages and for a photo opportunity.
The Christmas Fantasy will again open up to the public following the luncheon on Monday, November 17, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. when the silent auction and events come to a close.
