Patient Notification SMS

Veterans Memorial Hospital & Clinics, (VMH), operates an SMS program that sends opted-in subscribers MyChart notifications via recurring SMS (Short Message Service) text alerts to “opted-in” subscribers. As an “opted-in” subscriber, you consent to and understand that message notifications include MyChart messages and notifications and may contain your protected health information.

Text messages should not be relied on or used for emergency communications.

Subscribers can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to VMH, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from VMH. If you want to join, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Wireless providers/carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
