Anesthesia
Whenever anesthesia is delivered by one of our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), the patient is in the care of a professional who provides a thorough and safe anesthetic from pre-op through post-op. They carefully review the medical history of each patient, deciding the best type of anesthesia medications to safely keep our patients pain-free while constantly monitoring all of the biological functions of the body during each surgical procedure.
Our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for any emergencies they are needed to assist with, including C-sections.
Our CRNAs routinely provide the following safe and competent anesthesia services:
- IV sedation
- General anesthesia
- Spinal anesthesia
- Nerve blocks
- Obstetric analgesia and anesthesia
- Long-term IV access via PICC line placement
- Trauma stabilization and airway management in the Emergency department
