The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act requires non-profit hospital organizations to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) at least once every three taxable years.
The CHNA is conducted to help identify a needs, or gaps which exist, in a variety of areas ranging from quality of life, education, socio-economic, as well as health and wellness. Once the assessment is complete, needs are prioritized and strategies are then developed to address those prioritized needs. We appreciate the time our community takes in helping us gather information on healthcare needs in Allamakee and Northern Clayton County.
