Registered nurses and trained home care aides offer a variety of services including nursing visits, medication set-up and administration, dressing cares, IV’s, catheter and colostomy cares, oversee rehabilitation in-home programs, and assistance with personal cares. RN staff is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Lee Koehring of Waukon has been utilizing these home care services for two years. His sister, Sandra Koehring, states, “Lee’s nurse, Juli, is awesome. We are so fortunate to have this home care service coming in to oversee things because we are not there all the time. She checks his blood pressure, does his nursing care, sets up medications and just keeps an eye on things. She has caught a lot of things and without her care, we would not have known. She is compassionate, understanding, listens and truly cares about him. They get along so well. Our community is so fortunate to have this service.”
